Weight Management Injections

We are aware of the media coverage around weight management injections. Provision of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) is yet to be implemented across Devon. Commissioners are presently reviewing options for the provision of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) across both specialist services and primary care. Once it is made available there is likely to be high demand, it is not known at this stage how long the wait will be. 

NHS Devon is advising against the independent initiation of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) prescribing for weight management until the point at which further guidance is provided.
